# Request

> Create a payment request link that anyone can use to pay you privately.

Request USDC or SOL from anyone by generating a shareable link. The payer clicks the link, signs in, and pays — all without seeing your wallet address.

## How to request

1. Tap **Request** on the home screen
2. Enter the amount you want to receive. Tap the token badge to request in **USDC** or **SOL**. Then tap **Continue**
3. Optionally add a message (up to 50 characters) — e.g., "Dinner last night"
4. Review the fee breakdown and the amount you'll receive
5. Tap **Proceed**
6. Copy the generated link and share it with the person you're requesting from

## What the payer sees

When someone opens your request link:

* The amount you requested
* Your optional message
* A picker to choose the privacy protocol (default: Auto)
* The fee breakdown for the chosen protocol
* A button to fulfill the request

They'll need to sign into Swish (if they aren't already) and approve the transaction. Your wallet address stays hidden throughout the process.

<Note>
  A **SOL** request is fulfilled through **Privacy Cash** or **Umbra** (MagicBlock is USDC-only). The payer needs enough SOL to cover both the amount and the network fee.

## Managing requests

You can view all your requests in the **Activity** tab on your profile:

* **Open** — waiting to be paid
* **Settled** — paid by someone
* **Cancelled** — you cancelled the request

To cancel an open request, click on it from the Activity tab.

## Fee breakdown

Fees vary by protocol — the payer (not the requester) covers them. The exact fee shown to the payer depends on which protocol they pick. The **"You Receive"** line on your end shows the amount you'll get after the payer's fee.
